Meet the Team: Kate Gross - Client Manager
As our firm grows, we continue to find great Soundmark ambassadors. Please help us welcome the newest member of our team, Kate Gross.
With her enthusiasm for helping others, Kate is an ideal fit for our Client Manager role. Interning at John Hancock during college, she enjoyed helping clients find solutions in a financial setting. The importance of saving money was instilled in Kate early on as she watched her mom navigate higher education as an assistant director of financial aid at a graduate school.
A Cum Laude graduate and Order of Omega Honor Society Member of the University of New Hampshire, Kate is excited to experience all that the Pacific Northwest offers and cannot wait to conquer the many hikes our area boasts.
What’s one of your greatest achievements?
After college, I lived and worked as an English assistant at a school in Madrid, Spain where I helped students with their English fluency. Moving to another country to live and work was a great experience as well as an achievement - adapting to a new culture, working on my Spanish, and navigating a new city.
What brings you energy?
I am passionate about spending time outdoors! I love hiking, skiing, and mountain biking. I am very excited to explore all that Washington outdoors has to offer. I also love traveling and being able to experience and learn about other countries and cultures.
Friends would describe me as:
Outgoing, adventurous, fun, kind, and trustworthy.

Exercising, meal prepping, reading the news, catching up on podcasts, trying to become fluent in Spanish.
Ideal weekend:
A hiking trip!
Approach to client services:
Being a friendly face ready to help! Throughout my work with John Hancock and as an assistant English teacher, I discovered I really love helping others.
My last meal would be:
Authentic Mexican food and a chocolate dessert.
What matters to me:
Family and friends.
Most likely to spend a spare hour:
Reading and hanging out with my cat, Louie.
